Michael and Charo faced challenges in realizing their dream of becoming registered nurses in the U.S. After struggling with unpredictable registration requirements, they found hope with Conexus, who believed in their potential and guided them toward their goal. When Mia came to the United States with her husband and children in 2010, she was determined to earn the necessary credentials to work as a U.S. nurse. Before she found Conexus MedStaff® in 2018, she was a nursing student on the F1 visa at Arkansas State University – and before that – a midwife in Morocco.

​Three Conexus RNs recently received Conexus MedStaff®’s Education Advancement for Registered Nurses (EARN) Scholarship, a biannual scholarship that supports dedicated healthcare professionals with the opportunity to advance their clinical knowledge, skills or education to further enhance the level and service of care they provide. The recipients – Will Ducusin, Abigael Otis, and Yin Yun Zheng – were celebrated this month within their local communities with colleagues, supervisors and facility staff.

Rodfel | Nurse | Philippines

After researching to determine which nursing agency was best to help him secure a Green Card, he chose to work with nurse recruitment agency, Conexus MedStaff®. With assistance from Conexus throughout his immigration journey to secure an EB-3 visa for nurses, Rodfel overcame the challenges posed by six years of retrogression to finally land the American nursing job of his dreams.
