NCLEX Sponsorship Program Requirements for International Nurses

To work with Conexus in the United States as an international nurse, you will be required to have the following:

Education required for Green Card nurses

  • A Bachelor of Sciences in Nursing (BSN) or a Nursing Diploma equivalent to an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) the U.S.

Work experience required for international nurses in the USA

  • Currently working in an inpatient role at a hospital with 100 beds or more
  • Generally speaking you will be required to have at least three years total experience in an inpatient position and will need to have graduated within the last 10 years – however, exceptions may be possible.

Other requirements for international nurses

  • English proficiency: You will need to pass an English proficiency test before coming to the United States. Conexus has an English proficiency program to help you with this.
