Giving Back at Calvert Trust

As part of our continued partnership with The Calvert Trust, a group of our UK employees recently spent the day volunteering at the charity’s site, helping to refresh the outdoor spaces that are enjoyed by visitors throughout the year.

The team rolled up their sleeves and got to work painting picnic benches and planters to help spruce up the area for the many visitors who enjoy the center throughout the year. It was a rewarding day of teamwork and supporting an organization whose work creates meaningful opportunities for so many people.

This year marks the Calvert Trust’s 50th anniversary. For five decades, the charity has been helping people with disabilities experience the great outdoors through accessible adventure activities in the Lake District. From outdoor challenges to experiences that build confidence and independence, the Trust ensures that more people can enjoy the benefits of nature and adventure, regardless of ability.

We are incredibly proud to support such an inspiring organization and were delighted to contribute to maintaining the welcoming spaces that make these experiences possible. Our connection with the Calvert Trust has grown over many years, and we are proud to continue supporting the incredible work they do.

Later this year, Conexus CEO Andrew Moreton will be taking part in the Great North Run to raise funds for the Calvert Trust to mark their 50th anniversary year. We wish him the best of luck with his training and fundraising efforts and look forward to cheering him on in September. Learn more about his fundraiser.
