In this article, we’d like to introduce you to our Associate Director of International Recruitment, Cyndi Peters.
Cyndi has been part of the Conexus recruitment team since 2022. Based out of Florida in the United States, she leads a team of recruitment experts who connect with healthcare professionals from around the world on a daily basis. She often attends our global recruitment events – say hello if you see her!
What attracted you to Conexus and what are you most looking forward to in your role?
I joined Conexus because we offer an NCLEX Sponsorship Program which allows the U.S. opportunity to be feasible for nurses for whom self-sponsorship of the NCLEX exam is otherwise out of reach.
Which Conexus value (passion, integrity, care and support, family, growth, gratitude) resonates most with you and why?
Integrity. A foundation of trust is essential for any relationship and healthcare professionals need to be confident we are doing right by them.
What is your favorite memory from working at Conexus?
I've been able to travel and connect with my teammates outside of the ordinary workday activities.
What has been your most meaningful accomplishment so far?
Parenthood.
How do you give back to your community?
I like to contribute to and volunteer at the local food bank.
What is a cause that you are passionate about?
Food insecurity.
Tell us about your life outside of work.
I like to go to the horse track, concerts, and the theater, but mostly I enjoy time in my backyard.
What types of books or movies do you enjoy?
Mysteries and thrillers. Documentaries. True Crime.
