In this article, we’d like to introduce you to one of our HCP Experience Coordinators, Janice Quaichon.
Janice has been part of the Conexus MedStaff team since 2023. She lives in the Philippines with her two children and is committed to helping healthcare professionals (HCPs) from her home country and around the world to realize their version of the American dream.
What is your role at Conexus?
As an HCP Experience Coordinator, I facilitate healthcare professionals' journeys from their initial stages with Conexus MedStaff until their deployment in the US. My role involves addressing queries, resolving issues, and providing crucial assistance throughout their entire process. Acting as their primary support, I navigate them through each step, guaranteeing they receive the necessary guidance and support.
What attracted you to Conexus and what are you most looking forward to in your role?
I'm driven by helping others. At Conexus, I see my role as an opportunity to pursue my passion and support healthcare professionals in achieving their goals. Our core company values (passion, integrity, care and support, family, growth, and gratitude) really resonate with me. I'm eager to pay it forward and believe that this organization aligns perfectly with my mission and personal growth aspirations.
What did you do before joining Conexus?
Before joining Conexus, I spent more than a decade in customer service, client services, and as a Performance Development Coach in a business process outsourcing (BPO) and healthcare company. I've also worked in sales proposals, direct selling, event management, networking, and life coaching. Outside work, I enjoy hosting events and company occasions and I'm passionate about health education, helping out in community projects here in the Philippines.
What has been your most meaningful accomplishment so far?
Becoming a mom has been an amazing journey full of meaningful moments that have truly enriched my life. I have two incredible kids: a 19-year-old son and a 6-year-old daughter. Watching them grow and develop in their unique ways is incredibly rewarding.
How do you give back to your community?
I volunteer in my community, assisting with feeding programs, book drives, and events for kids at orphanages. I also provide support to disadvantaged women and children through counseling and help sessions. Additionally, I'm actively involved in welcoming and assisting during Sunday services at our church.
What is a cause that you are passionate about?
A cause close to my heart is supporting local community initiatives, especially those aiding the less fortunate or displaced women and children. I'm passionate about participating in various activities such as food programs, book drives, and events like "Adopt a Friend Days" for kids from orphanages.
What is your dream vacation?
Santorini, Greece, is my dream vacation spot because of its mesmerizing sunsets, stunning blue-domed buildings, and breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea. The combination of picturesque landscapes and romantic ambiance makes it an absolute dream getaway.
