We have a fantastic team of people at Conexus MedStaff! Whether we’re working behind the scenes, over the phone, or face-to-face with our nurses and medical technologists, we all have one thing in common: we’re passionate about helping international healthcare professionals (HCPs) realize their dream of working and living in the U.S.

In this article, we’d like to introduce you to one of our HCP Experience Coordinators, Jagruti Gorasia.

Jagruti Gorasia: helping international healthcare professionals make the move to the U.S.

Jagruti has been part of the Conexus MedStaff team in the UK since 2023, based in her home city of London. She states that the Conexus MedStaff value of ‘Care and Support’ resonates strongly with her, embodying the essence of what she believes in both her professional and personal life.

What is your role at Conexus MedStaff?

My role at Conexus MedStaff is to guide and support healthcare professionals through their journey to arrive and work in the U.S. I serve as a support system and help them navigate each step successfully to receive the necessary assistance and guidance along the way.

What attracted you to Conexus MedStaff and what are you most looking forward to in your role?

I was drawn to Conexus MedStaff for its compelling mission to connect people internationally for a good cause, specifically in the distribution of medical attention across the U.S and also giving healthcare professionals an opportunity to achieve their career and life goals. What I most look forward to in my role is the chance to make an impact on our healthcare professionals’ lives.

What did you do before joining Conexus MedStaff?

Before joining Conexus, I worked in the relocation industry for over four years. During this time, I had the privilege of assisting individuals and families during one of the most stressful parts of their lives – moving to a new country. This experience allowed me to gain valuable insights into different cultures and countries, as well as the significant impact that an overseas move and international work opportunities can have on people's lives. It was a rewarding experience, and I'm excited to bring my skills and understanding of global dynamics to my role at Conexus.

What has been your most meaningful accomplishment so far?

One of my most meaningful accomplishments so far has been embarking on a backpacking adventure around France. Over the course of six days, I had the incredible opportunity to explore four vibrant cities: Paris, Bordeaux, Lyon, and Nice. This journey wasn't just about the places I visited but also about the personal growth, cultural experiences, and memories I gathered along the way. It taught me the value of adventure, adaptability, and the beauty of discovering new cultures and perspectives.

What is your dream vacation?

My dream vacation would be a thrilling journey to three incredibly diverse and captivating destinations: Machu Picchu in Peru, Mount Fuji in Japan, and the Vishnu Temple (Angkor Wat) in Cambodia.

What types of books or movies do you enjoy?

I'm a Harry Potter enthusiast! When it comes to books and movies, I'm all about that instant captivation. I've got a golden rule shared with both film directors and friends: don't take too long to tell the story! I thrive on stories that dive right into the action, whether it's the magical world of Harry Potter or any other genre that serves up excitement and intrigue from the very first page or frame.

What is your favorite quote or motto?

"Embrace the journey, cherish the moments, and make every day an adventure."
