In this article, we’d like to introduce you to our Talent Specialist, Nikita Dover.
Nikita joined the Conexus MedStaff team in England in June 2022. Having spent several years working in corporate dentistry and as an estate agent, Nikita was drawn to the role at Conexus MedStaff for the opportunity to help healthcare professionals (HCPs) from around the world.
What is your role at Conexus MedStaff?
My role is Talent Specialist which means that I’m responsible for attracting new HCPs to sign up with Conexus MedStaff, and helping and guiding them through the application process. My team is the first point of contact for many HCPs enquiring how Conexus can help them achieve their dream of moving to the U.S. It’s exciting to see them start their journey from the very beginning.
What do you love most about working at Conexus MedStaff?
I love that everyone is approachable, and there is no such thing as a silly question. People are always willing to help when needed.
Tell us about your life outside of work.
My life outside of work is mainly being a mum to my cheeky 3-year-old boy, Elliot; a dog mum to our Staffy, Brute – and not forgetting my partner, Steven! My life is mostly trips to the park as a family, trampoline parks, walks in the park! Life involves A LOT of parks!
What is your favorite holiday destination?
My family and I spend a lot of time in Wales at the moment, in Prestatyn in particular as we have some of my partner’s family there. We love to go there! They live just a short walk from the beach so we love going to watch the sunset with a cheeky glass of wine, enjoying the peace and quiet.
What are you most looking forward to this year?
Many more little getaways with my family. I love to spend time making memories with my family, and making the most of the time we have together.
What is your favorite season or holiday?
I am a winter baby! I don’t cope well in the heat! My hair triples in size exactly like Monica from Friends! But yes, I love nothing more than wrapping up with my hot water bottle and getting cozy. Christmas is always my favorite time of year; cozy fires, Christmas lights, and mulled wine all the way.
What is your favorite food or meal to cook or eat?
It’s got to be Italian for me. I love garlic so anything with loads of it is a winner for me… I just have to remember the mints for afterward.
