The Visa Bulletin for December 2018 has been released, and the Conexus Medstaff Immigration team has confirmed that there has been some movement on the processes for this month!
The US Department of State has released the Visa Bulletin for the month of December 2018. We’ve found two key areas to focus on.
EB-3 for the Philippines (15 JUN 2017)
The EB-3 priority date for the Philippines has moved forward seven (7) days. It’s small, but it’s worth noting that a week forward is better than regression!
EB-3 for India (01 MAR 2009)
Now for those applicants from India. The latest bulletin reveals that the priority date for India has moved forward two (2) months.
More about the Visa Bulletin data
For the current final action dates for other nationalities, take a look here. We offer breakdown of how to read these tables.
The Visa Bulletin, effectively, has two different tables - Table A and Table B.
Table A shows the Final Action dates. Applications filed within these dates may be approved for their Permanent Residency or Immigrant Visa appointment.
Table B shows the dates for filing for a visa. This means that the US Department of State may work on an application within these dates, but a visa can't be approved until the date is current, per Table A.
Remember, 'Good things come to those who wait'.
