What are the requirements for a medical technologist to work in the U.S.?

As a medical technologist, you must be currently working in a lab as a generalist in a Tertiary or Secondary Facility. You must have completed a 4-year Bachelor’s degree in one of the following: medical laboratory science, medical technology, biological science, chemistry, microbiology, or biochemistry. You also will need to have ASCPi certification.
