The U.S. Department of State has released the October 2025 Visa Bulletin, providing the latest update on the EB-3 visa category for international nurses.
While progress varies by country, the forward movement for the Philippines is a positive sign and a welcome shift from the retrogressions we’ve seen in the past. Even when some categories remain steady, forward movement in others shows ongoing progress for international nurses on their U.S. journey.
Philippines: 01 APRIL 2023 – 2 months movement
Other Nationalities: 01 APRIL 2023 – no movement
India: 22 AUGUST 2013 – 3 months movement
China: 01 MARCH 2021 – 3 months movement
This forward movement is an encouraging sign that processing is opening up. If your Priority Date is now current, you’ll be able to take the next step in your U.S. journey.
