If you’re hoping to work in the U.S. as an international medical technologist, also known as a medical laboratory scientist (MLS), Conexus MedStaff is the ideal agency that can match your experience with the right clinical laboratory technologist jobs.

Our growing team is well-versed in all aspects of U.S. immigration law and requirements, that all begin with your visa application. As your Green Card sponsor, you’ll quickly discover that we’re sensitive to your needs and will do everything we can to place you in the best roles.

We can be your reliable guide on different pathways to the United States, including EB-3 and H-1B visas. The next H-1B visa lottery is March 2024, through which selected applicants will enjoy a fast-tracked U.S. immigration process. If you are ASPCi qualified, join Conexus MedStaff and boost your chances in the H-1B visa lottery.

Through Conexus, you will have a choice of clinical laboratory technologist jobs at our partner healthcare provider facilities across the U.S., with competitive pay and benefits. We get to know you and view our contract with you as a partnership.

Some agencies may merely get you through the immigration process and line up a position in a laboratory. Our hands-on approach means you won’t feel abandoned after you arrive in the United States. We even provide you with pay while you settle into your new home in the U.S., before you begin working.

We care about where you’re living, how you’re doing and what we can do to help you each week you’re with Conexus MedStaff. Learn about our values.

Even before you relocate here for a job, we offer personalized modules through Conexus Academy to help you gain new knowledge so you can grow in your field. And once you’re here, training is always available. In fact, clinical laboratory technologists are pleased to learn how many free continuing education units (CEUs) they can earn. Get the details about our Conexus Academy.

We stay in touch with you throughout your time with us. Our medical technologists tell us that our accessibility and the genuine interest we show mean the world to them as they build their lives and excel in their jobs. With our support, clinical laboratory technologists often pursue a specialty that interests them most, such as blood bank, immunology, clinical chemistry, cytotechnologist or microbiology.

Here are our job requirements:

  • Education. A four-year bachelor’s degree is required in medical laboratory science, medical technology, biological science, or chemistry, with a copy of your diploma and transcripts from your university.

  • Work experience. In your current role, you take medical samples, perform clinical testing, resolve technical problems, and conduct routine laboratory maintenance. You’ll need to provide your resume and professional references.

  • Certification. You must have an ASCPi certificate from the ASCP (American Society for Clinical Pathology).

  • English language fluency. You should have a good working command of the English language. You must pass the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) with an overall score of 6.5 and a 7 on the speaking section, or achieve an equivalent score on a similar English language test. We have a team dedicated to helping you pass these exams.
