Advance your healthcare career in the U.S.
Your journey to success starts with Conexus MedStaff. From the moment you sign your employment contract with us through the end of your assignment, see how we fuel your professional development and personal growth every step of the way.
International medical technologists working in U.S. jobs first must choose an employer that will help them not only get to the U.S. through visa sponsorship, but help them grow once they are here. Our team at Conexus is excited to help you take those first steps as an international medical technologist or allied health professional. To provide you with an overview of how we approach our healthcare professionals and their goals, we have outlined below the steps we take once you qualify for an interview with us.
Together we will change lives, starting with yours. Apply today.

1. Your Career Goals as an Allied Healthcare Professional in the U.S.
During the interview process for our international allied health professionals who want to work in the U.S. we learn more about your experience and skills and goals and dreams for living and working in the U.S. so we can help you achieve them. Be sure to ask questions you may have for us so that we can both determine if Conexus is the right fit for your future.
During the interview, you’ll be able to ask questions about the immigration process, visas, and working in U.S. hospitals with Conexus. If you’re a qualified medical technologist or other allied healthcare professional who is a good fit for the needs of our U.S. healthcare clients, our team will extend a verbal contract to you at the end of the interview. Or, if you don’t meet our qualifications, your recruiter will let you know why and offer suggestions on next steps.

2. Joining the Conexus Community
Once qualified and approved for hire, our electronic employment agreements are issued to you and clearly detail what you can expect from Conexus, what we expect from you, and serves as your employment agreement with us.
Once you have signed your employment agreement with us as an international allied healthcare professional, you officially become a member of the Conexus community and benefit from our education and support starting before you arrive in the U.S., and continuing your entire career with us. An unsigned contract expires after 30 days to give you enough time to review the contract in full.
3. Identifying Clinical Competencies for the U.S.
The Conexus Clinical Competency Assessment begins with an interview. With no right or wrong answers, this step has a goal of understanding your clinical strengths and creating a plan to prepare you for work in a U.S. lab or hospital as an international allied health professional.
A Conexus educator will assess your clinical skills, identify your strongest skillset, and issue a second checklist. Once that’s complete, you’ll advance to the selection process and be matched with your U.S. healthcare assignment.
4. Starting Conexus Academy
Through Conexus Academy, we build your confidence and competency from the very beginning of your employment, as you grow, and throughout your time with us working as a medical laboratory scientist or allied health professional in the U.S.
Our educators guide you along with contextual and practical training. We help you get used to your U.S. clinical setting and create a personalized plan for your career growth. And throughout your entire employment with Conexus, we continue to provide hands-on training and coaching.
5. Starting the U.S. Immigration Process
Our expert in-house immigration team is committed to making your immigration process as simple as possible. In fact, many of our team members have been through the U.S. immigration process and can provide you with confidence and insight into your immigration case, regardless of whether you come to the U.S. through the H1B, EB3, EB2 or TN process.
While each immigration case varies, our immigration team will partner with you to secure your U.S. work visa and apply for your Green Card at the end of your contract with us.
