In celebration of Medical Laboratory Professionals Week, often referred to as Lab Week, Conexus MedStaff is introducing a new scholarship program designed to celebrate and support Conexus medical laboratory scientists. The Growth and Opportunity for the Advancement of Laboratorians (GOAL) Scholarship, supports the professional development and advancement of our medical laboratory scientists.
The GOAL Scholarship invests in the future of medical laboratory science and empowers our talented professionals to continue growing and learning in their U.S. careers. This inaugural scholarship program will award financial support to selected recipients, enabling them to pursue professional development or educational opportunities. Recipients may utilize the scholarship funds based on their personal goals, including enrollment in advanced training programs, payment for continuing education courses, acquisition of training materials, or coverage of expenses associated with certification exams.
“Lab Week is more than just a celebration; it’s an opportunity for reflection and investment in the future of our medical laboratory professionals,” said Andrew Moreton, CEO of Conexus MedStaff. “The GOAL Scholarship is another way for us to show our appreciation and investment in the growth and goals of our exceptional medical laboratory scientists.”
To be eligible for the GOAL Scholarship, Conexus medical laboratory scientists must meet specific criteria, including completion of at least one year with Conexus MedStaff, maintenance of good standing in employment status with both Conexus and the assigned healthcare facility, and a demonstrated commitment for continuous learning and improvement in the field of medical technology.
The Conexus GOAL Scholarship inaugural submission deadline is Monday, July 1, 2024, and will be awarded twice a year. GOAL Scholarship recipients will be notified and announced in mid-July. Eligible Conexus medical laboratory scientists are encouraged to apply here.
