Celina joined Conexus as a Licensing and Credentialing Advisor in August 2022. Since then, she has played a pivotal role in the early development of the Credentialing and Licensing team’s current reporting system, preparing us for a successful Joint Commission audit. Her expertise in operations and data support is evident, and she’s consistently proactive in giving feedback for process improvement.

Celina leads the U.S. credentialing team, focusing on the management and strategic development of the credentialing and licensing team as Conexus continues to grow.

Celina says: I am passionate about innovation and constantly improving processes so that we can provide the best service possible to our healthcare professionals.

My degree is in Political Science and Security, but by a twist of fate, I ended up in the healthcare staffing industry. My first credentialing role was serving the Los Angeles school districts. When COVID hit and I moved to Florida, I began working exclusively with Travel Nurses, until finally joining Conexus.

Outside of work, most of my time is spent at home with my 2 cats and my boyfriend, usually watching a show or playing video games. I love LOVE food / eating, so in the past few years I’ve picked up cooking and baking as a hobby. When I’m not home, I love to travel. So far this year, I’ve visited Mount Rushmore and the Black Hills, Washington, DC, and San Diego.
