Visa Bulletin Updates for October 2020: Impact on International Nurses

Veronica Sanchez, our Immigration leader can confirm that the Visa Bulletin for October 2020 has been released and there has been an amazing movement for our nurses. The priority date for "Other Nationalities" is Current and the priority date for the Philippines is Current. We are very happy for our nurses and look forward to helping them begin their nursing careers in the U.S.

The Visa Bulletin effectively has two different tables - Table A and Table B. Table A shows the Final Action dates. Applications filed within these dates may be approved for their Permanent Residency or Immigrant Visa appointment. Table B shows the dates for filing for a visa. This means that the U.S. Department of State may work on an application within these dates, but a visa can't be approved until the date is current, per Table A.
