How is a nurse chosen to receive The DAISY Award?
Nominations can be submitted by patients, facility employees and Conexus employees all year round. A selection committee of Conexus employees will be meet twice a year to review nominations. They will be tasked with reviewing all submitted nomination applications, selecting and announcing the winners. All nominations will be anonymized.
I have already won a DAISY Award at my facility; can I win a second DAISY Award?
Yes. Nurses can receive more than one recognition from the DAISY Foundation based on multiple nominations for excellent care.
Many Conexus nurses have already been recognized on assignment by their healthcare facilities for their outstanding care and dedication with a DAISY Award.
Through our new partnership with The DAISY Foundation, we aim to amplify this recognition, extending the reach of the DAISY message and creating even more platforms and opportunities for our exceptional nurses to be honored for the extraordinary work they do every day.

Where can people nominate Conexus Nurses for the DAISY Award?
Anyone can nominate a Conexus nurse for a DAISY Award here, including patients, their families, carers, visitors, members of staff and volunteers, demonstrating the award's aim to recognize excellent and compassionate care across various hospital and healthcare settings.
As part of this launch, we have reached out to all healthcare facilities where Conexus nurses are placed, encouraging them to participate in the nomination process. This means your colleagues, whether fellow nurses, managers, or other healthcare professionals, can now nominate you for the DAISY Award and share the impact you’ve made in their lives and in patient care.
