Visa Bulletin Updates: April 2023 (U.S.)

The U.S. Department of State has released the Visa Bulletin for the month of April 2023. Although China moved slightly, there was no major movement in key EB-3 employment-based categories. USCIS has not yet announced whether it will use the Final Action Dates or Dates for Filing chart in April.
The Final Action Dates for EB-3 are as follows:
- EB-3 Other Nationalities (CURRENT)
- EB-3 for Philippines (CURRENT)
- EB-3 for India (15 JUNE 2012)
- EB-3 for China (1 NOVEMBER 2018)
The previous Visa Bulletin (March) included a note that retrogression should be expected in the upcoming months for all EB-3 visa categories, including the Philippines and Worldwide, due to the higher-than-expected use and demand since December 2022. EB-3 final action dates continue to be current in April (Philippines and Worldwide) and the EB-2 final action dates for rest of the world, India, Mexico, and the Philippines retrogressed to keep numbers within the 2023 annual limit.
