Accredited by the Philippines Department of Migrant Workers

The Department of Migrant Workers (formerly known as the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), is the executive department of the Philippine government responsible for the protection of the rights and promotion of the welfare of Overseas Filipino Workers and their families. Conexus has been accredited by the Philippines Department of Migrant Workers.

The Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), part of the Department of Migrant Workers, is a legal prerequisite for foreign employers and Philippine recruitment agencies to engage in the recruitment and deployment of Filipino workers. Being Accredited by the Philippines Department of Migrant Workers ensures that our recruitment process is compliant with Philippine laws and regulations. It also helps safeguard the rights and welfare of Filipino workers in the U.S. by ensuring that employers and agencies adhere to ethical recruitment practices and provide fair employment terms and conditions.

Conexus has a long history of hiring nurses from the Philippines. Since we began in healthcare more than a decade ago, we have provided immigration support and offered career opportunities for Filipino nurses wanting to migrate to the United States. When possible, to provide support for each other, we have moved nurses together into a U.S. community as we know creating a home away from home is important for success.

As part of our offering, we provide guidance and coordination for international healthcare professionals to work and live well in the U.S., which includes immigration processing, credentialing and licensing, and managing the complex details and travel logistics so our healthcare professionals can focus on preparing for the move and a successful career.
