Conexus RN Receives DAISY Award for Excellence in Nursing
By Conexus MedStaff - Posted Dec 8, 2022
Lovely Subeldia, a Conexus MedStaff nurse from the Philippines, was recently awarded The DAISY® Award for Extraordinary Nurses.
The DAISY Award is a highly regarded recognition, awarded to nurses that display extraordinary compassion and care for patients and their family members.
In receiving this award through the work she does each day, Lovely demonstrates how Conexus nurses can grow and excel in their careers. We spoke to Lovely about what receiving this prestigious honor means to her.
What does receiving The DAISY Award mean to you?
I was very grateful, overwhelmed and did not expect it because I was just fulfilling my responsibilities as a nurse. I never expected the DAISY Award. I am naturally a caring person and love to take good care for my patients.
Why did you decide to become a nurse in the U.S.?
I have always wanted to live the American dream. I love it here. I love the people, my community, the environment, my workplace. Everything is so perfect for us. I hope to permanently stay here in the U.S.
What are your long-term goals?
I love what I do now which is taking care of patients and giving them excellent care. Down the road, I am looking at maybe becoming a nurse practitioner or nurse educator, but right now I am taking my time to understand the U.S Healthcare systems very well.
How did you find Conexus MedStaff?
I heard about Conexus through a friend who, surprisingly, didn’t use Conexus to relocate to the U.S. though she highly recommended the organization. Three years ago, I contacted Conexus MedStaff and the agency has been there for me from day one – and here I am now.
We are grateful for Conexus healthcare professionals like Lovely that are dedicated and passionate about providing exceptional care for their patients, their community, and their team.
We hire international nursing graduates on the F1 Visa and international nurses already working overseas. Apply to start your journey as a U.S. nurse today.
