West Lancashire Investment Centre, the home of the UK office of Conexus MedStaff, has achieved the Green Meetings Bronze Award, following keen scrutiny across its operations by the Green Meetings assessment panel.
“This internationally recognised awards certification programme recognises the commitment of businesses which are actively working towards becoming more sustainable. The awards are acknowledged worldwide as an indicator of good environmentally friendly practice, helping businesses with their green journey as well as acting as a hallmark of ‘green quality’ which I know is an important consideration for many of our tenants.” said West Lancashire Investment Centre Manager Gill Kinloch.
For more than 25 years Green Tourism has assessed and accredited the sustainable practices of businesses. Over 700 businesses across the UK use its standard which includes advice on environmentally friendly choices, from energy consumption and water usage to biodiversity.
