The Department of State has released the Visa Bulletin for the month of October 2021. This is the first bulletin of the fiscal year. See below for important dates:

For the millions of people waiting in line in the employment-based and family-based categories, the Visa Bulletin predictions give them an idea of when they will be able to become lawful permanent residents (LPR). It is important to understand that the dates above have been calculated from data provided by USCIS and the State Department. It does not include future demand which can increase or decrease at anytime.
The predictions for the employment-based, third preference EB-3 category are starkly different from what the Chief of the Visa Control and Reporting Division predicted a few weeks ago. The State Department predicts that as early as November 2021, EB-3 India and China final action dates could retrogress and EB-3 worldwide final action cutoff dates could be imposed. This is a change from recent predictions and we will continue to monitor this situation carefully.
