Like many international nursing students on an F1 visa, Karina was worried about her future as a U.S. nurse after graduating from a U.S.-based university. Karina is originally from Venezuala and had been looking for a job on her OPT that would provide sponsorship. Her uncle sent her a job posting by Conexus MedStaff, and things started to look up for Karina. She now works as a new nurse in the U.S.. Here is her experience working with Conexus MedStaff as a new international nurse after graduating from a U.S. university:
"After looking for a job for months during the pandemic with no success, I was lucky enough to have my uncle send me the link of a job posting by Conexus. I did not hesitate and applied right away. I am so glad I did! I was reluctant at first because it all seemed just too good to be true but it turned out that it is 100% true. They are all so supportive and ready to help. I did not feel alone, they are with you every step of the way.
The deployment process was so much easier with the help of my operations manager, Kristin. I was overwhelmed, scared, and nervous to start this new life and career; so having her there and the entire Conexus team, made all the difference. To be honest, I am actually glad nothing else worked out because I wouldn't want to start my nursing career any other way."
