If you are an International Physical Therapist or a Physical Therapist student currently studying in the USA, we want to help you land your dream job in the USA. So what are you waiting for? There are 4 steps in our application process for Physical Therapist:
Once we receive you application, one of our experience advisors will screen your CV and if your experience and qualification match those required by our partner hospitals, we will call you to talk over your application in more detail.
We will then invite you for a clinical interview. This will be carried out by one of Conexus’ friendly clinical interview and will take around 30 minutes.
After a successful first round interview, you’ll then be invited to sit an online competency exam, which is issued by a number of hospitals across the USA to assess your suitability. You will need at least 75 percent to pass.
If you are successful at the online competency exam, we will set up a second interview with our USA team.
Based on the outcome of your second interview, we will then set up a final interview with our partner hospital.
When you have successfully complete the application process, the Conexus team will take care of the rest for you! Depending on the type of hospital you are placed in in the USA, we will apply for the visa that works best for you to ensure we get you to the USA as quickly as possible.
Our ideal Physical Therapist candidate will hold the following:
- US Masters degree or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience for candidates outside of the USA.
- Must be licensed in state of employment or provide documentation from the state board of showing eligibility for a license
- VisaScreen Certificate from CGFNS or a Comprehensive Credentials Review (Type 1 Review) from the Foreign Credentialing Commission on Physical Therapy (FCCPT) (must be obtained prior to embassy interview stage of process)
