Conexus MedStaff (Conexus) is a recruitment company focused on providing International Healthcare Professionals to the United States. As part of this Conexus specializes in recruiting candidates that will go onto be sponsored by Conexus to obtain their green card permanent residency visa for the United States. Each candidate will then be placed by Conexus into a hospital in the United States and will be supported on assignment by Conexus during their first assignment in America which typically lasts for 2.5 years.

Conexus has offices located in Houston, TX, Lexington, KY & Charlotte, NC in the United States as well as offices in the Philippines and the United Kingdom that help provide a full recruitment, immigration and operational support service to successful candidates.

Conexus presently has access to over 90 hospitals located in more than 20 States across America. As a result of these contracts as well as an aging population and an aging nurse labour force in the United States the Conexus team is experiencing a significant demand for International Healthcare Professionals and particularly Registered Nurses to move to the United States.

As a result of this demand we are looking to hire a Contracts and Recruitment Coordinator to join the team in Appley Bridge, Wigan. Please see further information below about the job description:

 

Job Description:
Conexus presently has an excellent opportunity for a Contracts & Recruitment Coordinator to join it’s UK based team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a fast growing company. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for making phone calls to assist the recruitment team with nurturing Registered Nurse candidates through the process of getting ready to begin their visa process. A large part of getting ready for the visa process for each candidate is completing the NCLEX exam which is a required exam that all Registered Nurses will need to pass to work in the United States. The successful candidate will be responsible for making calls with candidates to nurture them through the process of completing this exam.

In addition to this the successful candidate will also be responsible for following up with candidates that have completed Conexus’ recruitment process and following up with them to sign their employment contracts.

The successful candidate will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and be used to working predominantly on the phone. The successful candidate will need to be able to communicate with the Recruitment team and Immigration teams across the various Conexus’ offices. The successful candidate should have excellent time management skills

 

Core Skills Required:

Applicants should demonstrate:

  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Good IT and database management skills
  • Good telephone communicational skills
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Good understanding of processes and educating candidates on the steps that will need to be complete

 

Preferred Skills:

  • A university degree is preferred in either business or human resources but neither is essential
  • A background in healthcare or a desire to enter into the healthcare sector is preferred but again not essential
  • Background of hitting targets is preferred


Salary:
Base salary is competitive. In addition to base salary successful candidate will be eligible to take part in company bonus scheme
