Ashley helps screen and interview U.S and International Nurses and Medical Technologists, and hosts live and virtual presentations to help educate potential candidates on the journey with Conexus MedStaff.

What attracted me to Conexus MedStaff is I love the Conexus MedStaff values, and that they truly care about the healthcare professionals and helping them achieve their dreams and accomplish their goals. I have always wanted to work for a company where I thought I was making a difference, and not just a paycheck, and I really feel like I do that here with Conexus MedStaff.

Before Conexus MedStaff, I had just started in Recruiting and was new to the field. Before recruiting though, I was also a Medical Technologist. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry and worked in a variety of laboratories. I started off in a small hospital lab as a phlebotomist and lab assistant during school and following school, I worked for Abbott. Lastly, I worked for the Illinois Department of Public Health in the Newborn Genetics lab for a little over two years. I loved working in the laboratory, but I did also miss the social interaction and helping people in other ways. Having the opportunity to be an international recruiter for nurses, and medical technologists really allows me to combine both passions of healthcare and helping people.
